M&A Senior Associate

An international investment fund with a growing presence across Europe is looking to strengthen its Barcelona office with the addition of an M&A Associate. This role offers direct exposure to the full investment lifecycle — from opportunity assessment and execution to portfolio monitoring — working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate due diligence processes with partners and external advisors
• Participate in acquisition processes and negotiations
• Build and review financial models (valuation, forecasting, LBO)
• Prepare investment memorandums and materials for boards and investors
• Conduct market analysis and assess business models
• Support portfolio monitoring and financial reporting

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance or Transaction Services
• Strong financial modelling skills and solid understanding of M&A processes
• Full professional fluency in English
• Analytical, structured and detail-oriented profile
• High level of ownership, proactivity and ability to work in a demanding environment
