M&A Associate

An international investment fund with a growing presence across Europe is looking to strengthen its Barcelona office with the addition of an M&A Associate. It is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to gain strong exposure to M&A transactions, working closely with investment teams.

This position sits within a specialized division focused on the preparation of investment materials and documentation, playing a key role in supporting investment processes across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, structure and analyze financial, market and operational information to support investment processes
• Draft investment memorandums and reports for boards, investors and financial institutions
• Support due diligence processes by gathering and organizing relevant documentation
• Prepare presentations and summaries based on investment analysis
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and organization of information across all materials
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to obtain key inputs
• Support ongoing investment-related and financial activities within the team

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or similar environments
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Experience preparing presentations, reports or investment-related documentation
• Full professional fluency in English
• Structured, organized and proactive mindset
