Excellent opportunity for a Data Governance and Reporting Manager within the RDA team of an international banking group based in Barcelona.
Professional opportunity as Data Governance & Reporting Manager being parto f the RDA team for a banking institution based in Barcelona.
The role is conceived to be in charge of driving the definition and implementation of Data Governance and Information Quality framework in the firm, that is with the definitions and deployment of Policies, Procedures and Methodologies. Drive the collection and maintenance of key business metadata including data definitions; rules: lineage; data lifecycle; security; privacy; and process, organization, location and application models.
Drive the resolution of data, information, reporting and processing challenges in the operational environment and/or business performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate it into data strategy. Drive the implementation of a Data Quality framework that continually assess opportunities for data quality improvement, while identifying issues, root causes and promote remediation plans.
Take responsibility and be accountable to management for appropriately assessing and effectively managing risks associated with the first line of defense’s activities.
Support the development and implementation of a corporate governance, risk, and compliance tool to enable the submission, tracking, and reporting of risk issues, self-assessments, and regulatory compliance and validate the design, development and implementation of Informational Systems and Applications.
In order to be suitable for the vacancy yu must count with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field, count with strong experience (10+ years) in Functional, Business Risk and Financial related roles, also count with experience developing Data Governance principles from a CDO Organizational Structure a plus. In addition to the previously referred requirements, you must count with experience implementing a governance and data quality procedures focused on continuous improvement and change management, you must be proficient with communication and analytical skills with Top management Risk and Finance Directors, count with experience working under tight deadlines with multiple deliverables, self-motivated and flexible, count with high attention to quality and details, count with experience creating reports utilizing a business intelligence or other report development tool a plus, and be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Access.
It will be strongly a plus if you are proficient with a Data Governance Solution like Infosphere Governance Catalog, Collibra, Informatica Axon, etc and if you count with experience in database design and data modelling.
