Senior Product Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst based in Barcelona to join our Product Development team. This individual will join a team supporting the European businesses within International Insurer with all product-related matters. As the businesses continue to expand so too does the requirement for superlative internal technical resource. This role will primarily focus on Professional Lines products but will also require participation from time to time on non-line specific maket issues and projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Creation and management of proprietary products
• Development and maintenance of form libraries and clause and endorsement banks
• Review of external products and benchmarking
• Creation of endorsements and bespoke solutions for individual risks
• Keeping up to date with relevant market wording developments
• Providing training to colleagues on wording issues
• Remaining on top of regulatory requirements appplicable to products
• Supporting the Professional Lines teams with product innovation
• Liaising with claims colleagues to ensure products continue to reflect underwriting intent.
• Builiding a European network of external legal support

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Have a degree in law and be admitted to practice law in an EEA country or the United Kingdom

• Have 7 to 10 years’ experience ideally in a non-life insurance company or broker product team, claims team, underwriting or legal function

• Have excellent attention to detail

• Possess strong technical drafting skills

• Be comfortable negotiating products with external and internal stakeholders

• Have the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks appropriately

• Be capable of explaining complex concepts is a clear and accessible way

• Possess excellent English language skills, and proficiency in two of the following languages: French, German, or Spanish is highly desirable

• Be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and meet strict internal and external deadlines
