Head of Finance

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join a fast-growing company in the logistics sector based in Barcelona. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for driving financial performance, supporting business growth, and acting as a key partner to the executive team. The Head of Finance will oversee all financial operations, provide high-impact insights for decision-making, and ensure the company has the financial structure, processes, and visibility required to scale effectively.

The role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments, with a strong focus on value creation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
• Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Optimize financial processes, systems, and internal controls to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor key financial KPIs and business performance metrics.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.
• Oversee audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with operations and commercial teams to support business growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• +8 years of experience in senior finance roles (Finance Manager, Head of Finance, CFO).
• Experience in high-growth environments, startups, or scaling companies is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in financial process optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
• Experience managing audits and financial compliance.
