M&A Associate

Robert Walters is collaborating with an international investment fund seeking to strengthen their Barcelona office with the addition of an M&A Analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with the execution team, providing essential support in the preparation, drafting, and structuring of investment materials, including investment memorandums, teasers, and other related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the M&A Associate in drafting and structuring investment memorandums, teasers, and supporting documentation for the investment process.

Conduct company, sector, and market research to support investment rationales and strategic recommendations.

Collaborate closely with the investment team to collect and consolidate relevant information for each transaction

Maintain, review, and update investment documentation as the deal pipeline progresses

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

1–2 years of professional experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction services.

Demonstrated experience in drafting and structuring investment materials.

Full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages will be considered an asset.

International exposure and proven ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical capability, and methodical approach.

Strong communication skills, team orientation, and motivation to learn and develop
