GL ACCOUNTANT

Contemporary Star Energy is looking for you… Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together global automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility. Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production. Strategically located next to Stellantis´ plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end and year-end closing activities

• Posting journal entries (accruals, provisions, adjustments)

• Fixed Assets management and balance sheet reconciliations

• Intercompany reconciliations

• Support for audits and statutory reporting

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and IFRS

• Collaboration with AP, AR and Treasury teams

Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting

• 5 years experience in GL accounting and closing processes

• Knowledge of Spanish GAAP & IFRS

• ERP experience (SAP preferred)

• Strong Excel and analytical skills

• Fluent English is a must
