Head of Administration and Billing

At Robert Walters we are working with a Maritime Logistics multinational located in Barcelona on the search of a Head of Administration and Billing, to manage a team of 5 people and work closely with the CFO. The position is based near El Prat de Llobregat and it is a full office based position. If you have at least 6 years of experience on the role, experience managing a team on this sector and fluency in English and Spanish this could be your opportunity for a new challenge!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review client agreements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare and update annual proformas in line with business requirements.
• Supervise and issue final Disbursement Accounts (DAs) and invoices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records to ensure timely payments.
• Oversee management of port tariffs, discounts, and incentives.
• Control accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
• Conduct thorough financial and accounting data analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for General Management to support business decisions.
• Supervise financial systems and ensure their smooth operation.
• Engage directly with cruise lines, port authorities, and suppliers to resolve financial and administrative matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in a similar role, with a proven track record in financial analysis, billing, and team management.
• Experience managing a Team.
• Experience on the Logistics sector is a must.
• High-level proficiency in Spanish and English.
• International accounting experience would be a plus
• Proactive profile and team player.
