Multinational Tier 1 Automotive Supplier is looking for a M&A VP based in Madrid.

Collaborating closely with the finance M&A and the legal M&A, the VP ensures strategic acquisitions and mergers drive growth and enhance the company’s competitive advantage in the automotive industry through significant technology, industrial and commercial synergies.

Functions:

• Leading M&A projects for strategic partners from early stage of identification to complete integration, focusing on opportunities that align with the company's role in the automotive supply chain.
• Define robust M&A strategy by Identifying and classifying all technologies industrial and commercial synergies through all opportunities on the market
• Make clear assessment of feasibility and interest on critical items to prepare future acquisitions success: structuration, governance, IP management, rights
• Execute all phase from initiation, letter of intent, NBO, Due Diligence, BO, Signing, Closing and effective integration within the Company.
• In charge and responsible of integration and expected synergies deliveries for all functions (engineering manufacturing, supply procurement, commercial, legal, finance).
• Coordinate through internal resources and legal and finance, Due Diligence, Site visits, insight and prepare synthesis and animation for Strategy Committee and BOD orientation validation
• Propose Get Approval and execute external growth strategy that enables the company to expand its product portfolio, customer base, and geographical reach.
• Building cross-functional relationships to foster a growth-focused mindset across the organization.

Requirements:

The VP brings extensive experience in leading partnership and M&A in a Tier 1 automotive setting, especially within complex, cross-continental organizations. This includes a deep understanding of the automotive supply chain, technical and operation for OEM relationships, and emerging industry trends.
