Portfolio Analyst

Leading global operator specialising in the complete management of solar and wind assets for the generation of electricity is looking for a Portfolio Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the Asset Management team you will be involved with the following tasks:

• Maintain relationship with the Agent, Senior Lenders, PPA Off-takers and any other project agreement counterparty during the construction and operations phase

• Deal with Lenders and PPA off-takers for reports, queries and waivers, Compliance certificates and others. When needed, liaise with the correspondent FRV departments for the approval of waivers and amendments of the project agreements.

• Implement and maintain the AM Loan compliance tool to ensure compliance with finance agreements, PPA agreements and any other project agreements.

• Supervise compliance with debt covenants, including the preparation and calculation of financial ratios, by the finance agreements.

• Identify and manage specific PPA commitments: - pool negative prices, green certificates and stock management, report obligations, among others

• Manage any required communication with PPA Counterparties regarding operational matters in coordination with the Asset management tech team and another department

• Update the asset’s financial model for the computation of portfolio returns, identifying the main variations.

• Ensure the fulfilment of requirements about the strategic minority shareholders.

• Review monthly cash-flow analysis and accurate cash forecast based on the status of the projects.

• Prepare ad hoc simulations (P&L, B&S, Cash-Forecast, DSCR) to analyse the impact of any unexpected or adverse fact.

• Monitor Bank Guarantees in coordination with the construction and asset management teams, and the treasury team.

• Reconcile and match monthly production data with monthly financial data.

• Review monthly and annual package reports identifying, results, trends by FRV practice.

• Provide monthly variance analysis and comments on significative deviation with a focus on Revenues (generation, prices, Rec’s).

• Review monthly Construction report

• Review cost to complete for projects under construction, co-ordinate with Independent Certifiers and lenders for debt drawdowns

• Assist the Asset Managers with in-depth analysis on the Project under operation expenses deviations.

• Preparation of the annual budget

• Approve invoices in SAP, in coordination with Asset Managers

• Other ad-hoc duties.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE:

• Bachelor or undergraduate studies in commerce, business, mathematics or engineering

• 2 years of experience

• Advances MS Excel, Vsual Basic and SAP

• English C1
