Accounting Specialist

Multinational Company is looking for an accounting specialist for its offices in Barcelona. Your main responsibilities will be review the monthly BS reconciliations and be a supportive role for the local accounting teams.

Responsibilities:
· Review of monthly BS reconciliations, analyse open items and monitor the local accounts matchings
· Accounting control file: review + support on the quarterly report file to the Group.
· Be a supportive role for local accounting teams (e.g. for local accounting questions.
· Elaborate manuals / process descriptions.
· Participate in the improvement of the Intercompany reconciliation process.
· Give support during internal audits.
· Realise ad-hoc enquiries.

Requirements:
· 3 years previous experience in Big4.
· Willingness to travel.
· Advanced level of English mandatory + other language. (Spanish, French, or Italian).
· Ability to understand key drivers for the business, objectives, and transfer the relevant information to the group managers.
· Experience with IFRS and analysis tools.
· Attention to detail- Proactive aTtitude adding value to the business.
· Communication and negotiation skills to provide rounded opinions and clear recommendations.
