Senior Accountant

We are searching for a Senior Accountant to join a multinational FMCG company in Barcelona with more than 1,000 employees. If you have at least 6 years of experience and a fluent level of english do not hesitate to keep reading:

FUNCTIONS

- Responsible for the accounting of one or more companies of the Group.
- Reviewing the monthly and annual accounting close.
- Posting of closing entries: allocation of provisions, accruals, review of budget and monthly differences, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring the reconciliations of the different accounting accounts.
- Participation in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and circuits.
- Elaboration of lists and reports extracted from the ERP-JDE system (AS400 to E1).
- Reconciliation and intercompany review: balances and transactions.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting.
- Preparation / Review of the company's annual accounts.
- Relationship with internal and external auditors: support in the work of annual audits and internal audit.

PROFILE

- Degree in Business Administration or related training.
- Great level of English (al least B2), verbal and written. Knowledge of another language is a plus (French/Italian/German/Dutch).
- 4-6 years in similar position and in industrial environments.
- Advanced level of excel.
- Very valuable to have knowledge of JDE and bring experience in a company in the FMCG sector.
