Head of Controlling/Finance Manager

At Robert Walters we are working on the search of a Head of Controlling/Finance Manager for a multinational company located in Tarragona. This individual will be the nexus between the Country Manager and the HQ.

Tasks:

• Ensure the correct and timely use of the economic and financial resources of the company with a strategic vision in the short and medium term.
• Economic analysis of the viability of the projects in which the company is working, monitoring of the works, reporting to Management the progress and deviation, where appropriate, of the result according to Budget and proposing improvements to ensure at all times the profitability of the projects and achievement of the annual Budget.
• Report weekly to the controller appointed by the holding company, reports on budgetary control efficiently supplying all the weekly economic-financial information of the company.
• Control and monitoring of cash flows, as well as budget and cash flow of the company.
• Take into account the company's strategy, contribute to growth, managing risk and ensuring the liquidity and solvency of the company.
• Accounting supervision and accounting closings
•Responsible to ensure correct accounting and net result in front of external auditors in the annual fiscal closing of the c ompany.
• Taxes: (models 111-115-303-349-216 and annual summaries).
• Holding monthly reporting.
• Manage a team of 5 people

Requirements:

• Strong background, Bachellor and/or Master in business administration, finance, or economics.
• At least 8 years of experience, 4 of them in a related role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership and potential to motivate others.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
• Personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
• Problem-solving skills and initiative.
• High level of English
