Business Developer India - Solar Trackers
One of the leading companies in the solar tracker industry is seeking to expand its business in India.
Responsibilities
- Identify and create business opportunities.
- Market analysis and strategy definition:
- Target markets: knowledge and segmentation of markets. Define strategies for generating business in new markets and boosting existing business.
- Competition: analyze competitors in products, projects, services, and personnel to ensure a technological advantage.
- Clients: analyze and segment target clients.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients, developers, and technical advisors to secure more business opportunities, growth, prospecting, and loyalty.
- Partnerships: create alliances with various players in the photovoltaic sector to maximize business.
- Brand exposure: strengthen marketing efforts (LinkedIn, website, trade fairs, events, advertising, marketing materials).
- Manage relationships with client departments to coordinate Solar Steel proposals.
- Prioritize and define Solar Steel’s response level regarding different business opportunities.
- Define forecasts and actions aimed at developing associated accounts to maximize Solar Steel’s business.
Required Qualifications
- Degree: Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
- Minimum experience: 5–6 years in commercial and business development roles within the photovoltaic sector.
- Advanced English level (other languages valued, especially Spanish).
- Full availability for national and international travel.
- Deep knowledge of the photovoltaic market in India and neighboring countries, as well as key players.
- Strong communication skills and proven experience in negotiation and closing deals.
