What you'll do:

As an Engineering Recruitment Consultant based in Barcelona, you will play a pivotal role in matching talented engineering professionals with organisations seeking their expertise. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around building meaningful relationships with both clients and candidates, guiding individuals through each stage of the recruitment process with warmth and consideration. Success in this position comes from your ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting, share knowledge generously, and maintain high standards of honesty throughout all communications.   • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering clients and candidates, ensuring their needs are understood and met with empathy and professionalism.
  • Source, screen, and interview engineering professionals for a variety of roles across multiple sectors, using considerate communication skills throughout the process.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates during their job search journey, offering honest feedback and sharing valuable insights to help them succeed.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share market knowledge, candidate networks, and best practices in order to deliver outstanding results for clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from initial brief through to offer acceptance, always maintaining clear and polite communication with all parties involved.
  • Contribute to team goals by participating in communal activities such as training sessions, networking events, and knowledge-sharing meetings.
  • Utilise dependable organisational skills to keep accurate records of candidate interactions, client requirements, and recruitment progress.
  • Support under-represented groups by promoting inclusive hiring practices and advocating for diversity within engineering teams.
  • Respond promptly to queries from clients and candidates alike, demonstrating sensitivity and understanding in every interaction.
  • Build long-term connections within the engineering community by attending industry events and engaging with professional networks.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Engineering Recruitment Consultant role will bring proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition—preferably within the engineering/ industrial sector—and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills that foster trust among clients and candidates alike. Your ability to communicate clearly and sensitively will set you apart as someone who truly understands the importance of honest feedback throughout the hiring journey.
