Sales Manager - Food Ingredients
Our client, an international company specialised in the development and commercialisation of active ingredients and commodities, with a strong focus on the food and personal care sector, looking to expand its presence in Spain, is now seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to strengthen its position in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of approximately 70-80 clients in Spain and Portugal.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the food segment.
- Provide technical support and expert advice to clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with international suppliers and act as a key point of contact for the Iberian region.
- Travel across Spain and Portugal to visit clients, trade fairs, and partners.
- Collaborate closely with the internal team to drive growth and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Solid professional experience in technical sales within the food ingredients sector.
- Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English (daily contact with international suppliers).
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field is a plus, though not essential.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Iberia.
