Export Transport Specialist (9 months)

An excellent opportunity as Export Specialist is available now in Barcelona for a multinational of the luxury sector. Mission: To manage and follow-up carriers and transport operations to ensure the quality service of the international traffic.

Main functions and responsibilities:

• To review and send documents for shipment fulfilment at the warehouse.
• To carry out the task of printing original documentation from the logistics operators which are necessary for the traffic.
• To carry out the task of modifying documentation according to the requirements of clients, shipping companies and airlines.
• To control the attached and original documentation (Proof of Delivery, (POD), transports).
• To maintain and track original documents.
• To document and coordinate merchandise's physical inspections between the warehouse and the Official Organizations.
• To manage international traffic incidences of the different departments. Analyse and close them.
• To manage procedures and documentation related to the insurance’s incidences and returns.
• To perform alternatives to the daily service caused by emergencies and unexpected events.
• To plan traffic bookings with the logistics operator.
• To follow-up and search alternatives to traffic ahead on time to ensure service level

Requirements for the role:

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in a similar job (import / export flows)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Transport or similar

Languages:

• Spanish: Native / Bilingual
• English: Advanced level
• French: Medium- Advanced level (desirable)
