Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Director Spain & Latam

A well-established pharmaceutical company is seeking a Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Director Spain & Latam for its offices in Barcelona.

You will lead a team of Supply Chain professional directly and functionally across Spain and Latin America Region.

As a functional leader, you will achieve success by regularly coaching, developing and motivating your team both in the Site office and in the region. You will contribute to set the vision for Supply Chain driven by Global SC organization, implement strategies to achieve the vision thereby driving for Supply Chain efficiencies and effectiveness.

You will have the full mandate to lead the Supply Chain organisation towards ensuring that finished goods that meet customer requirements and specifications, are available within required timeframes and budgets. This will include end to end Supply Chain accountability which will include the full suite of Supply Chain functions, S&OP, Demand Planning, Production Planning & Scheduling, Inventory Management, Warehousing and Distribution an New Product Launches.

You will work with the local supply chain professionals in the region to drive the monthly S&OP process including reviewing, implementing and improving the Sales Forecasting process.

Responsabilities:

Primary responsibility is to ensure supply continuity and inventory targets are met and that stock outs do not occur. This will be achieved through:

• Taking ownership for the SKU’s and supply base
• Thorough analysis, developing and implementing appropriate strategies and management methods for an efficient and effective Supply Chain.
• Acts as the Interface between TechOps and Commercial operations for the Supply process
• Leads the S&OP Process in the production site of Badalona and provides solutions in bottleneck situations.
• Management of all New Product Introductions within the portfolio and assure timely Supply to support product launches for the Region.
• Lead and supports multi function Supply initiatives and lead all functional departments towards achieving supply / inventory targets.
• Defines and tracks Performance Goals and KPIs with Suppliers and Commercial, in line with Global targets
• Work strategically with Global HQ to deploy the Global Supply Chain strategy in the Region
• Supervise the CMOs portfolio regionally managed, in accordance to the Global SC strategy

Qualifications, experiencia & competencies

• Master Degree in Management Engineering, Business Administration or similar qualification
• Post Graduate qualifications in Supply Chain (APICS) would be advantageous
• Minimum 10 years of deep supply chain knowledge with at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry and at least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong influencing skills with specific competencies in negotiation.
• End to end supply chain experience including managing regional supply chain operations across multiple counties.
• Experience in ERP system. Having end to end ERP solution implementation experience would be advantageous.
