Automated Solutions Specialitst

This role sits within the Automation Business Unit , playing a key role in the development and delivery of racking and semi-automated intralogistics solutions across Iberia. You will be responsible for analysing incoming leads and developing tailored technical solutions in close collaboration with sales, engineering and automation teams. The position combines strong technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, from concept definition through to project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse qualified leads received from the sales organisation (no prospecting required).

• Design and develop solutions for racking systems, pallet shuttle, VNA and integrated solutions.

• Prepare layouts, technical descriptions, specifications and cost calculations.

• Present and explain proposed solutions to customers together with the sales team.

• Coordinate with internal departments (automation, software, engineering) and third-party suppliers.

• Manage RFQs, technical evaluations and project timelines.

• Ensure compliance with quality gates and applicable ISO standards.

• Provide technical follow-up during the project lifecycle up to installation and final handover.

• Support sales teams, dealers and partners during demonstrations and commercial meetings when required.

Your Background

• Engineering degree or similar technical education.

• Extensive experience in racking systems and pallet shuttle solutions.

• Strong knowledge of layout design tools (AutoCAD or similar).

• Experience working in multidisciplinary and international project environments.

• Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
