A well-known multinational company from the FMCG sector is looking for a talented and self-motivated individual, to join its team as a Demand Planner, you'll be based in Legnano (Italy). They’re looking for people who embody their values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace.
About the Role
The Demand Planner is responsible for owning, facilitating, and the administration of local company sales forecasting and demand management for his/her respective customers.
What You Will Do
- Analyse historical demand and filter out outliers, identify the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm.
- Develop the base demand plan using the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm and adjust where necessary.
- Generate the new product forecast using the historical substitution and like modelling / scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management.
- Understand the impact of the customer buying pattern.
- Effectively communicates with and engages the Customer on operational issues.
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Good analytical skills and deep knowledge of Excel and SAP.
- A real team player, with good communication skills at different organisational levels.
- You are a fast learner with a strong attitude to problem solving.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Experience in the FMCG sector (desirable).
