Aircraft Engineer

Our client is an aerospace global supplier of high performance aerospace systems for Space, Defense and Science. We are seeking for several engineering roles in Madrid office. The candidate will play a key role in the conception and design of new aircraft and associated mission and on-board systems, all within an international cooperation European framework.

Duties

• Review of engineering and technical documentation to ensure compliance of industrial team to system needs and requirements.

• Analysis of aircraft functional, performance and operational requirements

• Participation in aircraft system sizing and performance capabilities

• Participation in the definition of mission architecture and requirements

• Participation in the definition of aircraft system architecture

• Participation in the definition of various aircraft systems

• Preparation of associated technical documentation

• Participation in co-engineering with national and international partners

Competences

• Knowledge in aircraft design and integration

• Experience in aircraft system architecture

• Knowledge of airworthiness & safety regulations

• Good practical knowledge on aircraft systems

• Knowledge of aircraft mission systems

• Experience in RAMT, EME and environmental requirements

• Good knowledge of aircraft avionics would be an asset

• Good knowledge of aerodynamics would be an asset

• Experience in air platforms interoperability would be an asset

• Experience in sensors/payload management would be an asset

• Knowledge of MBSE methodology and tools would be an asset

• Knowledge of Requirement Management process and tools would be an asset

Tools

• Advanced MS Office

• Knowledge of CATIA, NASTRAN and CFD Software would be an asset

• Programming in MATLAB would be an asset
