One of the most important companies in Europe is looking for a Deal Solution Manager SAP based in Barcelona.
The DSM Expert takes the full responsibility and leadership to define the solution and costing for his/her area of competence SAP (Infrastructure and Administration Services) inside a deal (bid/proposal).
Externally, the DSM Expert communicates with the customer to involve him in the portfolio SAP solutions.
Also, he/she presents solutions to the customer on both: strategic and technical levels.
Internally, he/she will communicate with various departments (local and international) and senior management to secure the delivery of solutions being designed.
The DSM Expert signs off her/his part of the deal and guarantees a solution can be delivered against a specified cost.
She/he ensures that the required solution descriptions and cost models are available on time and in the required quality, and provides the appropriate reporting.
Expert knowledge level in SAP infrastructure technologies (Hana).
Desirable Vora Proven professional work experience in presales and/or solution design activities for SAP Infrastructure outsourcing services‘proposals.
It is highly recommended having previous technical experience in complex projects and deployments in those.
The candidate will have huge experience dealing with customer requirements (e.g. RFP), translating them to an end-to-end solution based in portfolio elements, and building up the cost model.
She/he will focus in winning deals based on the most suitable and competitive solution for the defined requirements.
Goal Oriented professional.
Proven high level of knowledge of enterprise technologies such as: Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Storage, Communications, Security, business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, Big Data.
It is highly recommended to have in-depth technology experience and skill, in order to influence customer decision acting as a trustee advisor (Technical Consultant role) with high knowledge of market trends and innovative technologies.
Effective communication both written and verbal, excellent interpersonal skills High energy level, ability to hit short deadlines, full commitment when running the last mile Proven team leader skills and collaborative working disciplines, able to influence other Technical Experts and third parties assigned to the deal
Early problem identification / solves problems / arbitrates conflicts / addresses escalations
Financial skills are a prerequisite, as for cost analysis and discussion with sales (pricing) and controlling (business case) to optimally price a solution are part of the job.
Fluent English University degree
