This is a permanent position with one of our top clients, offering the opportunity to lead the technical evolution of a modern data platform. If you're passionate about building scalable, data-centric solutions and implementing best practices in data governance, this role is for you. As a Data Tech Lead, you will take full ownership of the data platform, guiding its architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business goals while maintaining high performance and reliability.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, end-to-end data solutions.

• Own and evolve the data platform, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.

• Implement and maintain robust data governance practices.

• Guide the integration of complex data workflows across systems using Azure Data Factory.

• Drive development within Databricks, managing data pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements, architecture, and timelines.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior data engineers.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture, security, and compliance.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect, with recent experience in a technical leadership role.

• Expertise in Databricks and Azure Data Factory is essential.

• Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline orchestration.

• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data security, and compliance.

• Experience working in cloud-based environments, especially Azure.

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset.

• Must be eligible to work in Spain full-time with no visa restrictions.
