IT Project Manager, procurement expert (12 month Contract)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager for a 12-month contract (with possible extension) to lead strategic initiatives focused on the digitalization of procurement processes. This role is based in Barcelona, Spain, and requires a strong combination of project leadership, stakeholder management, and procurement expertise. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in procurement operations, including large-scale sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration, with a proven track record of delivering transformation projects in complex environments. A key focus of the role will be driving efficiency and innovation by implementing and optimising digital tools and processes within the procurement function. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will interact with senior leadership, suppliers, and internal departments. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish are required, as you will operate in an international environment.
