Back-End & DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Back-End Developer & DevOps Engineer to join their edge runtime development team and contribute to their cloud-based medical software solutions. As a Back-End & DevOps Engineer, your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing backend APIs and orchestration logic for distributed systems. You will work with event-driven messaging systems for cloud-edge communication and build Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Your contribution will extend to secure, high-performance deployment pipelines and service lifecycles. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and fellow engineers in an agile environment.

• Design and implement backend APIs and orchestration logic for distributed systems
• Work with event-driven messaging systems (e.g., MQTT, Kafka, NATS) for cloud-edge communication
• Build and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including custom automation where needed
• Contribute to secure, high-performance deployment pipelines and service lifecycles
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and fellow engineers in an agile environment

The ideal candidate for the Back-End & DevOps Engineer position brings strong experience in back-end development with Go or similar languages like Python, .NET, or Java. They possess hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture. Experience with Microsoft Azure and distributed event-driven architectures is also required. The candidate should have familiarity with custom Kubernetes Operators or distributed system design. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex engineering challenges are key attributes we're looking for.
