Senior Business Intelligence Specialist (Qlik Sense)

For one of the biggest global engineering companies based in Madrid, I am currently and urgently looking for the following profile to join their Business Intelligence and data&analytics team and report in parallel to their headquarters in Switzerland.

Tasks:

• Leading data and analytics projects with global reach and providing actionable insights to their business units
• Partnering with their global divisions, business units and group functions to scope new projects, gather functional requirements, develop data models, and design front-end applications
• Develop, test, and implement solutions based on their Qlik Sense platform
• Pro-actively identifying needed changes in the application lifecycle and make recommendations for improvements with the subsequent implementation
• Planning and delivering trainings for end users, especially in the context of Self-Service Analytics
• Support proper operations and maintenance of existing application landscape, design and update required support frameworks.
• Providing mentoring and leadership to other team members and serving as a role model

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor degree in technical or business studies
✔ Min. 3 years of working experience in a similar in-house consulting role ideally in an international company
✔ Solid experience in designing and implementing solutions based on Qlik Sense
✔ Experience with “Governed Self Service BI” concepts being able to advice on best practices and visualizations
✔ Fluency in English
