Corporate Cloud Applications Manager

From Robert Walters we are looking for a Coporate IT Applications Manager to Join a multinational company with offices in Madird.

As part of thr global IT team, the Manager Corporate IT Applications acts as a central point of contact and trusted partner for Corporate Functions, provides overall governance and strategic IT direction, manages IT requirements and coordinates / executes subsequent projects to best support Corporate Functions with suitable IT solutions. The Manager Corporate IT Applications acts across the entire lifecycle of IT solutions from initiation, implementation, running and continuous improveme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Corporate Functions to define and execute a strategic roadmap of IT solutions and services for Corporate Functions needs.
• Act as a central point of contact for Corporate Functions IT Application related topics.
• Manage IT demands and coordinates/executes subsequent activities from initiating and executing projects, to run and continuously enhancing the IT Applications portfolio.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications, including analyzing opportunities to leverage available tools.
• Oversee the IT Application portfolio, reviews performance metrics, project schedules and status, and confirm strategic path forward.
• Maintain business and process continuity throughout change, monitoring the impact, taking any required remedial action and refining approach.
• Collaborate with software providers and internal stakeholders on new releases, perform impact analysis and make recommendations on functionality or business processes.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience Qualification:

• Degree in Business Administration or Informatics Science (or equivalent)

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in IT management, business analysis, consulting, process engineering or solutions management or other related area

• Ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective IT solutions.

• Ability to convey information clearly and simply to senior leadership and business stakeholders. This includes good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills that help facilitating the sharing of information between people

• Excellent oral and written English skills
