IT Project Manager

From IT Management division, Robert Walters, we are looking for an IT PMO for a German multinational company, leader in its sector.

Mission:

Playing an important role in the transformation process of the IT function in the BU EA, the PMO will be focused on managing the portfolio of IT projects assigned, setting up the governance model and assuring the achievement of results according to the original specifications in terms of timing, course, scope and quality.

As part of the IT Delivery Hub team, you will have the opportunity to work in an international organization utilizing a broad set of technologies and tools and interacting as well as sharing experiences with colleagues from multiple countries and cultures.

Responsabilities:

• You setup the governance model for projects and or programs.
• You run the governance and operating model for projects during the design-, implementation and closure phase.
• You manage the relationship with suppliers and partners (if not covered by functional heads).
• You track and report the progress as well as the benefits of projects towards steering committees and/or senior management.
• You collaborate with the functional IT teams to ensure a successful implementation of projects and or programs.
• You streamline the project delivery approach.
• You take the lead for specific project topics to support the project leader.

Requirements:

• You have an university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or comparable qualification (Master’s degree preferred)
• You have 2 or more years of working experience in international project management in a multinational corporation
• You have a strong project or program management knowledge and excellent organizational skills – PM certifications are an advantage.
• You have willingness to travel and work in a global environment.
• You have fluent English skills in spoken and written – other languages are an advantage (minimum level B2).
