Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Director

International Banking Group has trusted Robert Walters Spain the process for hiring an Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Director to be responsible to bring the most disruptive solutions and services to be implemented and adopted within all the different Business units.

As Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Director, the role is conceived to be responsible to detect the most disruptive available cognitive products and services in the market and lead its adoption with the different business units of the bank.

Being in regular contact with each of the Business Units' Directors, and working together with the first direction line of the Analytics HUB, the Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Director will be responsible for:

• Defining and monitoring the implementation of the strategic plan of the HUB and its derivatives in each of the defined business lines.
• Leading advanced analytics and AI forums in which a common strategy is established between the HUB and the business units as elements of coordination and collaboration in which the advances of the units, technical capabilities and value propositions associated with transformation projects are exposed.
• Launching initiatives associated with accelerating the implementation of analytical models in the entity
• Defining, developing and implementing projects associated with methodology for the development, monitoring and governance of ML models that ensure the AI requirements proposed by the European Union (calculations associated with the profitability of the models, AI regulation, explainability ...)
• Leading the definition and implementation of an ethics model associated with European regulations and main practices that are being applied in the development and implementation of analytical models and AI solutions.
• Supporting to the training plan coordinating the proposals of the project lines and generating a strategy for the development of capacities and knowledge for each type of profile.

With more than 7 years of experience in project management associated with analytics and data innovation and an academic background of engineering or degree in technical or business careers with a Master or postgraduate in data science (valuable), we are looking for a professional with a collaborative managerial profile, dynamic, communicative and creative with the aim of helping to define and implement a strategy in the field of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. With experience managing advanced analytics, AI and innovation projects with a clear orientation to the definition of strategic plans landed to business needs and the achievement of objectives, the ideal professional should be able to demonstrate capabilities in the definition and implementation of strategic plans, capabilities defining and managing AI and analytical projects, knowledge and experience in banking projects and capabilities associated with effective communication. In addition to the above mentioned, it would be desirable that the professional brings with him technical knowledge of programming and statistical techniques, knowledge in tools associated with NLP, Chatbots..., used to work with agile methodologies and with innovation methodologies.
