Enterprise Architect

Our client, a leading IT Consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Enterprise Architect to join their team in Greater Barcelona. This role is integral to the company's digital transformation journey, working alongside the CIO to execute the division's vision and ensure that the enterprise IS/IT landscape remains up-to-date, supportable, scalable, and efficient. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to plan, execute and measure the strategy of Enterprise Architecture across a global landscape.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping our client's digital future. You will work closely with the CIO to provide IS/IT vision and execute the division's vision. Your role will involve planning, executing and measuring the strategy of Enterprise Architecture across a global landscape. You will also evaluate new solutions as they are introduced to the environment, assess existing applications and technologies, document them and propose improvement initiatives. Your ability to translate business strategy into technical strategy will be crucial in this role.

• Work alongside the CIO in facilitating the process for providing IS/IT vision.
• Plan, execute and measure the strategy of EA across the global landscape.
• Evaluate new solutions as they are proposed/introduced to the environment.
• Assess the existing portfolio of applications and technologies.
• Document and propose improvement initiatives as part of the continuous cycle of evaluation and rationalization.
• Play a critical role in translating business strategy into technical strategy.

The ideal candidate for this Enterprise Architect position brings a wealth of experience in IT within Global IT environments. You have spent at least 3 years architecting, engineering, supporting or developing enterprise IT solutions in hosted and cloud environments. Your extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices and goals sets you apart from others. You are familiar with Open Standard languages such as TOGAF, Archimate, BPMN, UML and tools like Archi, Modelio, BizzDesign, SparxEA. Your project management skills are backed by qualifications in PMI, Prince 2, Agile methods or similar. You are fluent in English and additional language skills in Spanish & French would be a plus.
