Our client, a leading Norwegian multinational with 35 years in Spain, is looking for a passionate Brand & Trade Marketing Manager to drive their growth for the Barcelona office.

What will your responsibility be?


• Executes brand management and sales promotion activities locally
• Based on depth consumer insight, he/she ensures profitable growth and strengthened brand positioning of his/her brand/product portfolio through innovations and marketing mix
• Responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and control of the strategic marketing plans for the assigned brands, to optimize sales / market share, attract new customers to the brand, and retain existing ones
• Responsible for the trade marketing budget to develop and execute the promotional and activation plan at the point of sale in the GFT channel together with the KAMs
• This role involves a blend of analytical and creative skills to effectively manage brand positioning, market research, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities. The Brand & Trade Manager have to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the company's overall objectives and market needs.

What will your challenges be?


• Brand strategy Development: design, development, and implementation of the annual marketing plans for brands in the pharmacy and mass consumer channels—analysis and strategy of the brands, media strategy, control of the profit and loss account, and A&P.
• Marketing Campaigns: design, development, execution and analysis of campaigns for the activation of the brand both at the point of sale and media. Contact with advertising agencies online and offline, public relations, and other communication providers for the development of specific elements and actions following the different regulations (example GDPR, Regulatory)
• Analysis of the competition to understand their strengths and weaknesses to establish appropriate strategies.
• Market Research: conducting market research when needed to gather insights on consumer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. This involves continuously analysing market data to inform marketing strategies and product development.Develop point of sale Strategy and materials for the customers
• Sales support providing support to the sales team with marketing materials, product information, and promotional activities to help achieve sales targets. Training of the sales network and customers about the brands and sales strategies.
• Sales Forecasting and Planning: responsible for the development, monitoring and updates of sales forecasts. Actively contributes to the brand planning process to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Ensure good management and implementation of graphic designs, catalogues, displays, and other promotional materials, within the agreed deadlines and budget.
• Budget Management: Overseeing the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve marketing objectives.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analysing marketing performance using key metrics to evaluate the success of marketing activities and making data-driven decisions for future strategies.
• Responsible for product pricing considering special market needs for new launches and existing product lines.
• Work with Global to successfully develop and implement all strategies and actions.
• Ensures effective brand-related training an on-boarding of other marketing team members or sales representatives

Are you the one we are waiting for?

• Diploma, degree, or bachelor’s in business administration or marketing.

• Minimum of 3 years performing Brand / Product Manager / Trade Marketing roles in a company within the mass consumer OTC / FMCG / Para pharmacy sector.
