An excellent Raw Material - Procurement Specialist role has become available at an important pharmaceutical company in Barcelona.
In this strategic position, as Raw Material - Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for leading the Pharma Direct Procurement Category, taking care of, among other tasks and not limited to, following up the market situation, negotiation of prices and conditions, either by our formulation facility as well as any other CMO, in order to guarantee the supply chain.
Key Functions
- Negotiating annual prices/conditions and Supply Agreements.
- Participation in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Support in the search and evaluation of new suppliers.
- Attending to fairs related to the pharma business as well as commercial visits..
- Participation in representation of Pharma Direct Procurement in multidisciplinary and transversal projects.
With a Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biotechnology Engineering Degree or related, you will provide more than 2 years of experience as Procurement Specialist (raw material) or Business Developer in a pharmaceutical company. Familiarity with matrix system organizations is mandatory.
To successfully fulfil the role you will have to demonstrate excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, conflict management and teamwork.
