DSP Process Development Senior Scientist

From Robert Walters, we are looking for a proactive and open-minded senior scientist focused on recombinant proteins. Background required:

- Background in Biomedical sciences / Pharma / Biotech.
- At least 5 year experience in biotechnology industry.
- Deep Knowledge in protein purification and chromatography.
- Hands-on experience in FPLC chromatographic units and filtration (tangential flow filtration, depth filtrations, etc).
- GMP and ICH regulatory guidelines knowledge is a plus.
- Nucleic acids knowledge and purification experience is a plus.
- Able to work in a cross-functional approach and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactivity and critical thinking.
- Team player in an evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Based in Barcelona Area.

Tasks and responsabilities:

- Take the lead in assigned project’s development (development plan and design of experiments).
- Lead and execute process development programs at lab scale and pilot scale manufacturing batches.
- Author required technical documentation (reports, batch record documents, SOPs, etc).
- Critically evaluate experimental results and suggest following activites.
- Technical proposals for scale up processes.
- To participate in lab management tasks.
- Responsible for the performance of the operational activities to the required quality and on time according to project timelines and Senior scientist indications.
- Responsible for reporting the results according to company documentation standards.
- Work under SOP procedures at expected quality standards.
