As Global Category Manager for logistics, utilities and facility management, you will be joining the Global Procurement team of category managers and local site procurement managers working to support resilience and optimization of the value chain across the organization. The position requires understanding of procurement practices and processes within logistics flows and processes, utility market dynamics and facility management.
Fields of responsibility
• Establish category strategies and plans in cooperation with local teams • Supplier management and value creation (EBIT, Quality, Risk, Sustainability) • Supplier search and participate/lead negotiation, contracting and implementation • Lead risk assessment with local teams • Facilitate harmonization and standardization of processes, services, and materials • Drive global data and contract overview in the categories
Your qualifications
• +4 years' experience from procurement of logistic services, utilities and/or facility management services • Bachelor or Master degree • Knowledge of quality processes, such as ISO or Good Manufacturing/Distribution Practice (GMP/GDP) • Analytical and result oriented • Strong stakeholder management skill • Strong knowledge and experience using the “procurement toolbox” • Strong experience with one or more of the categories mentioned • Good English language skills. C1 level is a must • Able to travel 25-35 days per year • Self-initiating and curious of nature
The department/team
The Global Category Manager will report direct to the Vice President of Global Procurement and will be part of a global team of in total 14 strategic category- and procurement managers, placed in both EU and US. Global Procurements aspirations is to provide strong leadership in the procurement process through planning, prioritization, knowledge, teamwork and transparency.

The position is located in Madrid. We have a remote working policy that will allow you to work from home part of your time.
