Head of Business Development

Background required:
-Bachelor in Biological or Pharmaceutical Sciences
-Postgraduate degree in Business is highly desirable
-Above 5 years of experience in CDMO or Biopharmaceutical industry holding positions in the Business Development department
-Demonstrated experience in negotiations and closing agreements
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to deliver engaging presentations
-Full availability to travel
-Understanding of evolving CDMO landscape
-Eager to keep the company up to date with state-of-the-art Technologies

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Define an annual strategy to represent the company at various business meetings to promote the CDMO, organize market research and collect customer’s project information.
- Identification, pursuit and generation of new business opportunities
- Lead the quotation process, from request for information to quotation and follow-up until closing the deal
- Propose prices aligned with the BD policies of the company together with the CEO
- Define contracts strategy for new business in alignment with the Customer strategy and act as the lead negotiation for legal documents while achieving targeted timelines.
- Built a solid network and long-term trusting relationships with customers and partners
- Identify and reports customer needs with the objective to provide solutions together with the technical team of the CDMO
