Global Tax Director

We are seeking a Global Tax Director to lead the tax function across multiple countries. This is a key leadership role within the organization, responsible for overseeing tax compliance, audits, reporting, risk management, and team development in alignment with global tax policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax teams across Europe and Latam.
• Identify and execute tax optimization opportunities.
• Conduct tax risk analysis and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure implementation of Group Tax Policies, processes, and IT tools for reporting, compliance, and risk management
• Oversee preparation and review of documentation for country-level tax audits.
• Define strategies for managing tax audits at both country and group levels.
• Support settlement negotiations with tax authorities.
• Assess uncertain tax positions and calculate risk exposure.
• Implement HQ-defined tax reporting processes in Europe & Latam.
• Ensure subsidiaries’ compliance with all tax obligations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws, assess their impact, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee implementation and defense of the Group’s Transfer Pricing policies.
• Prepare functional, economic, and comparative analyses for group companies.
• Lead local tax managers across Europe & Latam; set annual objectives aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law, Finance, or Accounting; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience combining Big Four/practice and industry roles (manufacturing sector experience is a plus).
• Proven track record managing multi-country tax teams in Europe & Latam.
• Deep technical knowledge of CIT (including consolidation regimes), VAT, TP, WHT, PE, and comprehensive audit management.
