Finance Manager

At Robert Walters, we are looking for a Finance Manager to lead operations for a major site in Poland.

Key Mission & Focus Areas

• Business Partnering & Decision Support: Collaborate closely with commercial and operational heads to provide financial insights that drive growth, efficiency, and strategic planning.

• Financial Oversight & Reporting: Supervise the month-end closing processes and deliver accurate corporate reporting packages (including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow analysis) in line with international group standards.

• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor local liquidity, manage working capital cycles (receivables, payables, and inventory optimization), and coordinate cash planning with global treasury teams.

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Coordinate the budget preparation, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning, ensuring operational metrics align with corporate targets.

• Compliance, Controls & Team Development: Oversee local tax, accounting, and statutory compliance, coordinate external audits, implement robust internal control frameworks, and mentor the local finance team.

What We Are Looking For

• Background: * At least 5 years of progressive finance experience within multinational or complex multi-entity environments.

  • Solid leadership experience (minimum 3 years in roles such as Finance Manager, Senior Controller, or similar).

  • Professional background in a Big Four firm (Audit or Advisory) is highly preferred.

  • Experience in fast-paced commercial sectors (such as Supply Chain, Retail, Logistics, Consumer Goods (FMCG), or Distribution) is a strong advantage.

• Technical Skills: * Robust knowledge of financial accounting, corporate reporting, cash management, and internal controls.

  • Experience with ERP systems (multi-ERP exposure or system implementation experience is a plus).

• Interpersonal Skills: * Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and international teams.

  • A collaborative, resilient, and proactive mindset.

• Languages: Business fluency in both English and Polish is mandatory.
