A leading multinational in FMCG sector is looking for a production planner
As a Supply Planner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's Supply Planning Europe organisation. Your main responsibility will be to ensure product availability by balancing demand and capacity for produced Finished Products and Raw Materials. You will manage all operational tasks connected to mid and long-term planning with a focus on securing Service Level at optimal cash and cost position. Your proactive approach will be crucial in identifying potential shortages and recommending changes for your assigned area. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various projects as a planning representative.
- Proactively identify potential shortages based on mid and long-term capacity/demand plan and recommend changes for assigned area.
- Lead or support resolution of shortages and capacity demand issues in close cooperation with local Factory Planning, Demand Planning, and Market teams.
- Contribute to the monthly S&OP for assigned area and follow up on actions out of the S&OP regional and executive reviews.
- Report and follow-up on relevant KPIs and supply situation, initiating local root cause analysis in case of major deviation.
- Participate as planning representative in various projects such as change of products allocation, European launch projects, lines start-up.
- Act as interface and coordinate cross-functional activities with Factory Planners, Sales & Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand planning, Business Logistics and Controlling.
- Continuously strive for cost, cash and service optimised allocation structure to improve the end-to-end Supply Chain.
- Support the rest of the EMEA planning team in other product areas and various activities.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate for the Supply Planner role is someone with strong proven experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning and Supply Network Planning. You should hold a university degree or equivalent in Business Management, Engineering, Logistics or a similar field. Your in-depth knowledge and experience in planning, logistics and inventory management will be crucial to your success in this role. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and has a proven track record of managing projects successfully.
- Strong proven experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning and Supply Network Planning.
- University degree or equivalent in Business Management, Engineering, Logistics or similar field.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in planning, logistics and inventory management.
- Proven practice of leadership skills with excellent communication and influencing abilities.
- Understanding of business processes, products, and basic production processes.
- Proven Project management experience with high IT-proficiency in planning and Supply Chain management systems.
- Organisational and network skills in an international / matrix environment.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical skills with a business understanding & holistic view.
- Ability to drive performance and demonstrate urgency while acting as a team player.
- Good stakeholder’s management skills.
