Data Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer passionate about building reliable, scalable, and high-quality data platforms. In this role, you will work across Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Operations teams to develop the foundations that enable data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows.
Develop and optimize data models and datasets that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
Implement and enhance data quality, monitoring, and observability solutions across the data platform.
Investigate and resolve issues related to pipelines, data transformations, and data consistency.
Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow and transformation frameworks such as dbt.
Manage and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure, primarily using Snowflake and AWS services.
Enable self-service analytics through well-designed data models, governance practices, and access management.
Contribute to platform automation, deployment processes, and CI/CD workflows.
Partner with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
Promote best practices in data engineering, platform reliability, and data governance.

What You'll Bring

3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform roles.
Strong SQL skills and experience designing scalable data models.
Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
Experience orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow.
Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation tasks.
Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Understanding of data quality, observability, and monitoring concepts.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control, and infrastructure automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to platform reliability and performance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
