Senior DataOps Engineer (Permanent)

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior DataOps Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of an enterprise data platform. You will focus on monitoring, incident management, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based data services and pipelines. Key Responsibilities * Monitor data pipelines and platform health. * Manage incidents and operational issues across the data platform. * Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions. * Support reliability, performance, and cost optimization initiatives. * Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform resilience and operational processes. * Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.

Required Skills

• Experience with cloud data platform operations and support.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Databricks, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, or similar).
• Incident management, troubleshooting, and post-mortem analysis.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads (AKS preferred).
• CI/CD operations using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and SRE concepts (SLAs, SLOs, error budgets).
