Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a Data Product Engineering (DPE) team in Barcelona. You will design and build scalable, business-focused data products and end-to-end pipelines using GCP, BigQuery, Python, SQL, dbt/Dataform and Airflow, working closely with business and product stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

✔ 3-5+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer
✔ Strong SQL and Python (or Scala) skills
✔ Experience with Data Lakes, Lakehouse architectures, and Data Warehousing
✔ Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, DataStream, DataProc, DataPlex, DataForm)
✔ Experience with streaming and CDC pipelines
✔ Knowledge of dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT, reporting, and data governance concepts
✔ Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional product teams
