SAP ABAP FIORI Specialist

Our client, a leading international group with a strong presence across Europe, is currently seeking an SAP ABAP FIORI Specialist to join their SAP Centre of Excellence in Barcelona and drive end-to-end SAP solution development.

The main responsibilities as SAP ABAP FIORI Tech Expert will be:

• Leading end-to-end SAP solution development using ABAP and Fiori/UI5 technologies.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements.
• Designing scalable, efficient and high-performing technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Developing and maintaining custom SAP applications and Fiori/UI5 apps.
• Reviewing code and overseeing unit/integration testing to maintain quality standards.
• Providing expert guidance on data migrations, system upgrades and issue resolution.
• Supporting project planning and coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely delivery.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers, including steering an offshore development team.
• Driving new implementations and global rollouts, contributing new ideas for continuous improvement.

The requirements for the position are:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, OData, CDS Views and Fiori/UI5 development.
• Proven ability to design, build and deploy complex SAP applications.
• Excellent understanding of SAP architecture and integration points.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP required; experience with S/4HANA and exposure to modules such as SD, MM or FI is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven way of working.
• Leadership qualities with prior team management or mentoring experience.
• Experience in global rollouts and structured, solution-oriented delivery.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
