Senior Software Developer – Full Stack Location: Barcelona Work model: Hybrid

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join an international engineering team working on the development and evolution of software solutions within the industrial automation and robotics environment.

You will be part of a multicultural technology team working closely with colleagues across different international locations. The role combines hands-on software development with technical collaboration, problem solving and continuous improvement of the product and engineering practices.

What will you do?

• Develop and evolve software products, ensuring high-quality, scalable and maintainable code.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment and production support.
• Take part in technical analysis and architectural discussions, helping translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices around performance, security, testing and code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automated testing practices.
• Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of new functionalities.
• Contribute to improving development processes, tools and ways of working within the engineering team.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to the definition of coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Take an active role in identifying opportunities to improve the team's technical capabilities and development environment.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally working as a Full Stack Developer.
• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership and initiative.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn new technologies and challenge existing approaches.
• Professional level of English, as you will work in an international environment.
