Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Azure platform, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement Azure landing zones, governance frameworks, and reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Define cloud standards and best practices for networking, identity, security, and operational consistency.
• Lead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies to enable automated and repeatable deployments.
• Build and maintain cloud automation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Bicep, PowerShell, Ansible, and APIs.
• Design and optimize Azure networking components, including virtual networks, connectivity, routing, application delivery, and hybrid integrations.
• Enhance platform observability through monitoring, dashboards, alerting strategies, and incident management processes.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to increase platform reliability and resilience.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure alignment across technology domains.
• Mentor colleagues, document standards and architectures, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Participate in third-line support activities and on-call rotations for critical infrastructure services.

Technical Expertise

• Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services (IaaS/PaaS).
• Azure Landing Zones, RBAC, Policies, Management Groups, and governance frameworks.
• Azure networking, including VNets, routing, hybrid connectivity, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, and Azure Front Door.
• Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as Bicep and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell, Ansible, and APIs.
• Monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL, Grafana, and related tools.
• Cloud security best practices, least-privilege access models, and security posture management.
• Hybrid enterprise environments integrating cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
