Sales Operations Manager- B2B
An international industrial company is seeking to appoint a Country Manager to lead business development and drive operational transformation in the local market. Reporting into the European structure, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the business potential in Spain, driving sales growth across a multi-channel environment while aligning local operations with the Group’s global strategy.
This is a strategic leadership position with full responsibility for business performance and a strong focus on organizational leadership and transformation.
Key responsibilities include defining and implementing the country’s commercial and business strategy, as well as full ownership of the profit and loss account (P&L). The Country Manager will be responsible for developing channel and segment sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities through the analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
In addition, the role will lead the transformation of the organization towards more efficient and digitalized operating models, promoting the implementation and optimization of tools such as CRM and ERP systems, as well as forecasting, inventory management, and commercial planning processes.
The position also involves leading, developing, and inspiring the local team, fostering a high-performance culture, and coordinating closely with internal stakeholders at regional and global levels, as well as external stakeholders including customers, distributors, partners, and industry organizations.
As the company’s representative in the local market, the Country Manager will establish and maintain strategic relationships while strengthening the brand’s market position across all channels.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in commercial leadership or general management roles within industrial environments. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in driving B2B business growth and managing multi-channel operations. They will demonstrate strong strategic thinking, execution capabilities, and the ability to successfully lead change and transformation initiatives.
Previous experience managing a P&L, developing high-performing teams, and a solid understanding of the Spanish market are essential. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, along with a strong customer focus, results-driven mindset, and business development orientation.
