Project Title: Head of Networking (Contractor) – Interim Manager for Global Infrastructure Project Description: We’re supporting a client in securing an experienced Head of Networking to take on an interim leadership role. The position involves managing global network architecture, leading two international teams, and driving strategy, security, and operational excellence across the organization. - Role: Head of Networking - Location: Hybrid or On-site (EU-based Barcelona preferred) - Working mode: (CONTRACTOR - Interim Manager) - Contract Duration: 12 months plus extension - Engagement Type: Freelance/Interim Manager (in collaboration with Robert Walters). Key Responsibilities: * Lead network strategy, operations, and architecture * Manage international network engineering teams * Oversee security, compliance, and performance * Handle budgets, vendors, and complex projects * Ensure the scalability and resilience of network systems

Requirements:

• 8+ years in networking; 6+ in leadership

• Proven experience with Cisco ACI, Fortinet, Secure Access

• Strong in project management, budgeting, and cloud networking

• Fluent in English and German (Preferably)

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, and Fortinet NSE are a plus
