Full Stack Developer (Interim Manager)

About the Engagement: Our client is seeking a technically strong interim leader to join their development team and drive ongoing product improvements. The ideal candidate will be able to balance hands-on coding with architectural decision-making, while mentoring developers and maintaining high-quality standards in the build process. Key Responsibilities: * Lead full stack development using React and Node.js * Make key decisions on architecture and technical direction * Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams * Promote best practices in development, testing, and version control * Ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance of the platform

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js

• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases

• Proven leadership in technical teams or previous interim/management roles

• Ability to work on-site or hybrid from Barcelona

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Familiarity with DRM, analytics, or monetization systems

• Experience working with headless CMS platforms, especially Directus

• Strong skills in testing, Git version control, and development best practices

Engagement Type: Contract-based interim role (scope and duration defined with client)

Location Requirement: Must be based in Barcelona
